May Fair 2014: A Resounding Tropical Success

On the morning of Saturday, May 17, BWYA’s Wang Jing campus was abuzz with activity. Students, parents, staff and vendors hurried to ready their booths for the crowds that would soon arrive. The bouncy castle billowed as it gathered shape. A backdrop was strung across the stage outdoors and sound equipment was moved into place. And at 10am, BWYA’s Tropical May Fair was officially underway.

A Lot To Be Thankful For.

Last Thursday was American Thanksgiving. At BWYA, the primary school kids learned the history of this delicious holiday and talked about traditional foods, the importance of family, being thankful for the things we have as well as remembering the past. To celebrate, we had an amazing catered lunch with a real roasted turkey, mashed potato, broccoli, yams, stuffing, gravy and even apple and pumpkin pies!

May Fair 2013 is Around the Corner

May Fair at BWYA is an event that unites our community every year for a great day of food, drink, activities, performances and fun, with all proceeds going to charity. To make this year’s May Fair our best ever, we need our community to pull together, exercise creativity, and contribute great booths and activities for the hundreds of visitors who will flood our campus on May 18!
