Saman Farid ’05: Engineering the Future
Saman Farid ’05 is back in Beijing, working at the vanguard of China’s greener energy initiative. He graduated on the Dean’s List in 2011 from the top-ranked Albert Nerken School of Engineering at Cooper Union in New York City. Amelia Zhang ’11: Award Winning Artist
Amelia Zhang ’11 (right, with Claire Fujita ’11) is already an award-winning artist, having recently won First Place in the Virtual Art section of the 6th Arte Laguna Prize. While at BWYA, she co-founded the Beijing-wide student-run magazine UNIT-E together with classmate Ernest Li. The magazine is still in operation, the baton constantly being passed to a new generation of students. →
Bartosz Baginski ’05: Hard Work, Close Bonds
Bartosz Baginski (third from left, with fellow graduates) graduated from BWYA in 2005 with his mind set on studying Aerospace engineering. He was accepted at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a top college in this specialized field. Originally from Poland, he returned to his home country to pursue further studies and career opportunities. He shares his thoughts on how his studies at BWYA prepared him for the future. →
